Dog Rescued After Falling Into 4-Foot Hole at Atlantic City Beach

Police officers and firefighters in Atlantic City, New Jersey, joined forces with local contractors to rescue a dog that had fallen into a four-foot hole on a beach on January 18.

The dog was running without a leash and fell into what appeared to be a storm drain, reports said.

Police officers and firefighters used heavy equipment provided by contractors working nearby to remove a cement cover and free the dog from the hole.
