Communities across drought-affected regional Australia united on December 13 for a dance known as Bust The Dust.

The event was organised by New South Wales school St John’s Parish School Trangie. Since organising the event, the school received support from Rural Aid and a host of Australian celebrities.

Members of the Trangie community can be seen taking part in the dance in a video posted to Facebook by the Trangie Fire Station.

Other schools across Australia took part in the Bust the Dust event, including a school at Forbes, Holder in the Australian Capital Territory and Gilgandra.
