The Eiffel Tower was evacuated amid reports of a bomb threat on September 23, according to local journalists.

This footage, shared by BFM Paris reporter Barthelemy Bolo, shows police blocking off streets around the tower.

Bolo said on Twitter the monument was evacuated due to a bomb threat.

A journalist at the scene told Storyful he received police information that a suspect threatened to detonate explosives.
