First Snow of the Season Falls in North Michigan

The “first snowflakes of the season” were reported by the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Gaylord, Michigan, just before 8 am on Friday, October 7, while further north in Marquette, NWS staff said “snow showers” began on Thursday evening.
