Gentoo Penguin Chicks Celebrate First Christmas at Sydney Aquarium

Christmas arrived early at Sydney’s SEA LIFE Aquarium on Tuesday, December 22, as some Gentoo penguin chicks were treated to their first winter wonderland festivities.

This footage sent to Storyful shows the two-month-old chicks chasing red and green baubles that slid across the fresh ice of the sub-Antarctic habitat.

The adult penguins also enjoyed the holiday fun with baubles and bubbles that they could not resist popping, the aquarium said in the release to Storyful.
