Hundreds of protesters rallied in Phoenix, Arizona, on May 28, calling for justice following the police-involved death of George Floyd in Minneapolis earlier this week.
This footage shows protesters walking down West Washington Street towards Phoenix City Hall on Thursday night.
The protests were sparked after a video circulated on social media showing Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin pinning Floyd to the ground with his knee on the man’s neck. Floyd could be heard pleading for help before going still. He was later pronounced dead.
