Heavy Rain Boosts Oregon City Air Quality

Rain, lightning, and thunder over the Portland metro area on September 18 provided relief from hovering wildfire smoke, even as the storm brought the threat of flash flooding, reports said.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality reported improving air quality Friday morning.
