Heavy Rain From Tropical Storm Fay Floods Jersey Shore

A storm system named Tropical Storm Fay brought 45 mph wind gusts, heavy rain, and the potential for strong rip currents to the New Jersey coastline on Friday morning, July 10, reports said.

The system was upgraded to a tropical storm by the National Hurricane Center after moving up the coast off North Carolina.

Several inches of rain brought street flooding to areas on the Jersey Shore. This video was taken on Third Avenue in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, on Friday morning. Similar scenes were reported in Avalon.
