'I'm Outta Here': Embankment Collapse Swallows Vehicles in Paintsville, Kentucky

An embankment failure in Paintsville, Kentucky, claimed multiple vehicles on March 4, according to local police.

This footage, posted by Paintsville Police Department, shows a vehicle disappear from view as the ground beneath it collapses.

“A large embankment failure behind the Paintsville City Garage at 112 River Road has occurred this morning,” the department said. “The slip is estimated to be 100-feet wide and 400-feet long. Multiple vehicles and other equipment were lost into the slip. No one was injured.”
