A lightning storm lit up the skies over Pearl River and Lacombe, Louisiana, on Sunday night, June 4, as the National Weather Service warned of severe thunderstorms in the New Orleans metro area.
Footage published by the St Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 shows sped-up lightning flashes in the sky over Pearl River, looking southwest towards Lacombe and New Orleans.
The National Weather Service in New Orleans said severe thunderstorms were moving in from a northeastern direction, passing over Pearl River and Lacombe on Sunday evening.
