Northern Lights Photographer Captures Her First 'Birthday' Aurora

A timelapse video recorded on November 24 into the early hours of November 25, shows a beautiful aurora waving over Bragg Creek, Alberta.

The footage, recorded by Siv Heang Tav, shows a clear and starry sky being illuminated by the vibrant pink and green display of the northern lights over icy water.

Tav, a photographer who regularly captures remarkable aurora’s across Canada, said she was celebrating her birthday when she was alerted to the aurora display.
