Pitt Football Fans Wait Overnight for ACC Championship Tickets

Students at the University of Pittsburgh lined up overnight November 29 into November 30 to secure tickets to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championship football game that pits the Panthers against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

This video posted to Twitter by Pitt Sports Insider shows students in line in Pittsburgh on Monday around 7 pm, a full 12 hours before tickets were set to go on sale.

Those who scored a ticket on the student bus would receive round-trip transportation to Charlotte, a ticket to the game, and a hotel room, according to local media.

A later video shared by local media shows heavy snow was coming down on the line early Tuesday morning.
