'Can I Please Read?' Jealous Dog Won't Let Owner Read Book in South Africa

An adorable dog in Cape Town, South Africa, was recorded nosing at a book its owner was trying to read in a charming bid for attention.

Video captured by Twitter user @sassyparodia, who said she took it on June 14, shows her dog, an Africanis named Dobby, trying to get at her book.

“Can I please read?” @sassyparodia asks Dobby.
