Protesters March Through DC During 'March for Life' Rally

Big crowds were seen in Washington on Friday, January 21, for the annual March for Life rally, the largest anti-abortion rights demonstration in the country.

This footage, taken by Twitter user @_ssimpson_, shows a group of demonstrators carrying upside-down US flags and Patriot Front flags, while chanting “reclaim America!” The organization is designated a “white nationalist hate group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

“Tens of thousands” of protesters attend the rally on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v Wade ruling, which legalized abortion in all 50 states, according to the event’s website.

A case currently before the Supreme Court could potentially overturn the landmark decision.
