Tropical Storm Isaias caused “significant” flooding in Pennsylvania and spawned at least six tornadoes across the northeast on Tuesday, August 4, according to the National Weather Service.

Tornadoes were recorded in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The weather service said it recorded four to seven inches of rain throughout the region, causing “severe” flash flooding and “significant” river flooding.
