Motorists protesting the high cost of fuel in the UK formed rolling blockades on the M4 and several other roads across the country on July 4, resulting in at least 12 arrests.

Footage recorded by @Michael53418170 shows the situation on the M4 outside Chippenham.

Protests on the western part of the M4 motorway brought traffic to a standstill between Wales and England with the temporary closure of the Prince of Wales Bridge over the River Severn. The bridge has since been reopened. Gwent Police said 12 people were arrested in connection with the protests.
