Strong winds battered the San Francisco Bay Area early on January 19, with gusts of up to 94 mph reported in the Mayacamas Mountains.

Approximately 53,000 PG&E customers in the San Francisco Bay Area were without power on Tuesday, as the winds knocked over power lines. PG&E warned customers not to move debris without first checking for power lines, as they may still be energized.
