A thunderstorm swept across Canberra, Australia, on December 1, lashing the city with wind gusts of up to 60 mph, local news reports said.

The Bureau of Meteorology issued multiple severe thunderstorm warnings on Tuesday.

The ACT State Emergency Service said it was called out to 45 incidents of storm damage, including fallen trees, fallen powerlines and roof damage.
