Truck Pushes Through Flood to Rescue Stranded Passengers in Hackensack, New Jersey

Flooding from Tropical Storm Fay hit Hackensack, New Jersey, on July 10, with the Hackensack Fire Department coming to the rescue of passengers in a stranded vehicle.

Footage of the flooding shows a truck pushing through the waters, approaching a stuck car on West Pleasantview Avenue. The fire department wrote that two occupants and a cat were stranded in the floodwaters.

A tropical storm warning was in place for coasts along the northeastern United States, including Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.
