Victoria Earthquake Leaves Bricks Strewn Across Melbourne Street

A magnitude 5.8 earthquake left buildings damaged in Melbourne, Australia, on September 22.

The earthquake was recorded at 9:15 am near Mansfield in Victoria’s east, according to Geoscience Australia. The government agency confirmed to Storyful they had revised the magnitude down to 5.8 from 6.0.

The Bureau of Meteorology said there was no tsunami threat as a result of the quake.
