Protesters gathered outside the White House in Washington, DC, on May 29, to protest the police-involved death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, on May 25. Members of the crowd can be heard chanting “I can’t breathe” in this video.

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer who was seen in video pinning Floyd to the ground while Floyd cried “I can’t breathe,” was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter on May 29.
