A wildfire in Carbon County, Utah, reached 4,706 acres and was at zero percent containment on Friday, June 11, after nearby residents were ordered to evacuate on Thursday afternoon.

The fire started near the town of Scofield on June 4 and has now forced the evacuation of 100 seasonal homes in Aspen Cove due to “extreme fire behavior and forecasted winds” that were expected to move the fire toward the area.
