Floodwaters inundated a street in Quezon City, the Philippines, as Storm Ma-On, locally known as Florita, hit the city on Tuesday, August 23. Similar scenes were reported elsewhere amid the torrential rain.

Footage from a local resident’s CCTV camera shows storefronts disappearing as floodwaters rose between 12 and 1 pm on Tuesday.
