Three cheetah cubs ventured into their habitat for the first time at Monarto Safari Park in South Australia on Tuesday, June 13, the park said.

Footage recorded by Geoff Brooks shows cheetah mom Qailee and her three cubs in the park’s habitat.

Assistant curator of carnivores Jon Allon said the new venture went well.

“The girls were more confident than their brother, leading the way and exploring all the different areas of their habitat,” Allon said.

“It was really exciting to see them out and about as a family, particularly the cross-fostered girl – she is doing really well,” he added.
