A high school student in Roane County, Tennessee, received a surprise promposal when his fellow students walked into his classroom to ask him to join them at the dance – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-style.

Canaan Gilmore, who has Down Syndrome, is a big fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and his friends all wore special turtle-shaped backpacks during the promposal. One student also held a sign, reading, “It would be turtley awesome if you went to prom with us.” Credit: WVLT via Storyful
