Here's why parents are preparing for their children to go back to school sooner than ever

A new survey of 2,000 American parents with children ages 3 to 13 found the average respondent began planning for fall 2021 on June 19. Typically, it takes 29 days from the end of one school year to begin prepping for the next — but 68% of parents are thinking about fall 2021 earlier than they would in a normal year. For those respondents, they started planning for the back-to-school season almost three weeks sooner than they would have before the pandemic.
