An industrial support ship operating in the South China Sea was wrecked and broke in half in a storm on Saturday, July 2, with more than two dozen people reported missing.

The Hong Kong Government Flying Service said a rescue team and several aircraft were dispatched and three people were rescued that afternoon. Video released by the flying service shows the rescues. A fourth crew member was rescued on Monday.

The flying service said the site was very close to the eye of Typhoon Siamba, which had wind speeds of up to 144 km/h, visibility of 500 meters, and sea swells of up to 10 meters. Credit: Hong Kong Government Flying Service via Storyful
