PepsiCo Frito-Lay, the makers of Cheetos, unveiled a temporary 17-foot-tall monument celebrating the snack’s infamous orange dust in Cheadle, Alberta, on October 4, the company said in a press release.

The company has officially embraced a slang term for the orange dust, “Cheetle,” and chose the similar-sounding Albertan town of Cheadle to commemorate the occasion, they said.

“Cheadle is proud to be home to the Cheetle Hand Statue. Where else could the Cheetos brand honour the iconic Cheetle, if not here," said James Gosteli, president of the Cheadle Community Club, in the Frito-Lay press release. “While our residents will be the first to see the unique monument, we can’t wait for the rest of Canada to see it for themselves!”
