High School Students Help Hurricane Cleanup Efforts in Bonita Springs

High school students assisted in recovery efforts in Bonita Springs, Florida, on Monday, October 3, after Hurricane Ian caused extensive damage across parts of the state.

During a press briefing on October 3, Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said at least 54 people died in Lee County — which Bonita Springs is a part of — as a result of the hurricane.
