Animals at London Zoo kicked off the holiday season on November 30 with unique advent calendars filled with treats, footage shows.

While a trail of cinnamon and nutmeg led Asiatic lions Arya and Bhanu to their calendar full of “meaty treats,” the zoo’s Bolivian black-capped squirrel monkeys searched for pouches in the trees; meanwhile, meerkats Meko, Penelope, Dracula, and Frank discovered cricket snacks behind the 25 doors of their calendar.
