Demonstrators marched at a pro-Palestine rally in Sydney, Australia, on Monday, October 9, ahead of the city’s Opera House being lit in support of Israel following a large-scale Hamas attack on October 7.

The rally, organized by Palestine Action Group Sydney, began at the city’s town hall, where attendees marched toward the landmark ahead of it being lit up in blue and white.

Flares and fireworks were lit by protesters at the opera house as police officers monitored the situation, local media reported.
