Woman Arrested for Trying to Steal Squad Cars in Sheriff's Office Parking Lot

Surveillance footage posted on March 30 shows a woman attempting to get into police vehicles in a sheriff’s office parking lot in east-central Minnesota.

According to the Pine County Sheriff’s Office, police approached the individual and asked whether she was trying to steal a vehicle, to which she responded, “Not yet.” She was arrested for attempted theft.

“Seriously, you cannot make this stuff up,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.
