Typhoon Maysak Makes Landfall Near Busan

Typhoon Maysak made landfall in South Korea near the southern city of Busan in the early hours of September 3, according to reports.

Local media reported that the typhoon was expected to be one of the strongest storms to hit South Korea in years. At 9 pm on September 2, maximum winds were measured at over 100 mph, the Korean Meteorological Administration reported.
