The American River Parkway, with its views, wildlife and ample opportunities for outdoor recreation, is a beloved destination in Sacramento. Keeping it clean and safe, however, is an ongoing challenge for those tasked with providing stewardship to the area. It’s a challenging way of life for the people who live on the parkway, too.
