Dan Flynn was fishing with his son on Navarre pier in Florida when he saw an ominous shape cruising through the water below. With dawning horror, he could only watch as the large hammerhead shark made a beeline towards shore. As the screams and warnings rang out, most scattered, but a couple of stragglers were left exposed. While they were hoping to spot the magnificent blue whale during the height of the whale watching season, the spectators were greeted by thousands of Pacific white-sided dolphins instead. Going shark fishing in the dead of night is no problem for Team Rebel, an anglers group based in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. This video shows the team using its infared equipment and a lot of teamwork to catch a 400 lb bull shark caught from the shore of a local beach. The team’s luck continued throughout the night, as they also caught a 300 lb tiger shark and several large black tip sharks. All the sharks were released after they were caught. 360 Heros is a company which specialises in custom-made 360 degree video gear. This consists of six GoPro cameras on each side of a hexagon, thus affording a complete 360 degree video shot. Diver Andy Casagrande IV was using this gear for the first time on a project for Shark Week when the unthinkable happened – a great white shark appeared suddenly and bit the rig.The cameras now lie on the ocean floor somewhere in New Zealand. 360 Heros is offering a $5,000 reward to any person that can somehow track down and retrieve the missing equipment. The shark, which can measure up to 10 feet in size, approached the diver calmly and seemed to snuggle into the diver’s lap, allowing her to pet and play with the predator. During day two of the White Buffalo Tarpon Tournament off Anna Maria Island, Florida, the Caragiulos Restaurant team had just hooked a big tarpon when a huge shadow cruised under their boat. The shadow turned out to be a 12’ Hammerhead shark looking for some lunch. The crew free spooled the fish so it could flee for about 3/4 of a mile in order to lose the shark, but unfortunately for them and their competition dreams, the shark had other plans. Friendly Basking Shark Spotted Off the Coast of Ireland

Jimmy Roseman was enjoying a dive at Bethel Shoal, Florida, when he was attacked by a 12ft Great White. At 90ft deep, Roseman was horribly exposed with just a spear gun as a weapon. Jabbing frantically at the giant shark, he managed to drive it off briefly. Unfortunately the shark returned for another attack before the panicking diver finally managed to make a hurried break towards the surface and safety. The video was uploaded by Chris Saunders.
