Heavy rainfall and flooding forced evacuations across portions of southern British Columbia on November 15.

The town of Princeton issued evacuation orders for low lying properties along the Tulameen River on Monday morning.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police warned residents against driving through floodwaters, according to local news reports.

Environment Canada wrote on November 15 that a “significant atmospheric river event” continued to bring "copious amounts of rain to the British Columbia south coast.”
