Water flows from the Great Lakes were jammed with ice after a storm brought heavy rain to the region on February 18, officials said.

Video posted to Facebook by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission shows ice on Friday morning affecting Walnut Creek, a tributary of Lake Erie in Erie County, Pennsylvania.

The Erie Pennsylvania Sport Fishing Association reminded residents to be “aware of hazardous conditions across all Lake Erie tributaries and any rivers or streams during these ice flow events.”

Ice jams and flooding were also affecting parts of Ohio and New York.
