Ross Fork Fire Burns More Than 24,000 Acres in Idaho

The Ross Fork fire, which was at four percent containment by Tuesday, September 6, spread to 24,026 acres (37.5 square miles) in Twin Falls, Idaho, according to official reports.

The lightning-caused fire started on Sunday, August 14, according to officials.

Video posted by the Blaine County Sheriff Idaho on Tuesday, shows billowing smoke filling the air in Twin Falls.
