Several Injured by Israeli Gunfire in East Gaza, Palestinian Officials Say

At least nine people were injured by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Gaza, near the border with Israel, on Friday, September 1, Palestinian health officials and Palestinian news outlets reported.

The IDF targeted demonstrators with tear gas canisters and bullets, Ma’an News Agency, a Palestinian outlet, reported. The Jordan government-owned Petra News Agency also said that those who were injured were demonstrators, citing Palestinian sources.
