Several bison calves were seen playing and bumping heads in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, in video published on May 24.

Leslie Conover recorded footage of the calves frolicking and said it was “sheer joy to watch the innocence and carefree play for these newbies.”

The National Park Service estimated there are around 5,450 bison in Yellowstone Park. It is the only place in America to have a continuously free-ranging bison population since prehistoric times. Credit: Leslie Conover via Storyful
