Yahoo TV Convicted Murderer Escapes From Pennsylvania Prison Yard
A man convicted of murder escaped the Pennsylvania prison where he was being held on August 31, leading to a days-long manhunt that as of September 6 was still ongoing, police said.
On Wednesday, September 6, the Chester County District Attorney (DA) released footage of the moment Danelo Cavalcante “crab-walked” up two closely situated walls and escaped on August 31.
Cavalcante was serving a life sentence for murder at the Chester County Prison. He has been spotted several times in the area, according to the DA’s office, but had not been located as of Wednesday afternoon.
The DA’s office said internal and criminal investigations into Cavalcante’s escape “are ongoing,” and added that prison officials “will provide additional information as able.” Credit: Chester County DA via Storyful
