Construction continued on the TCF Center in Detroit, Michigan, on April 4, as the venue was converted into a temporary alternate care facility for COVID-19 patients in Michigan.

Local media reported that the number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus had risen to 15,718 in Michigan by April 5, including 617 deaths due to the disease.
