Large Crowd Marches in Support of Juan Guaidó in Maracaibo, Venezuela

Protesters marched in Venezuelan cities on February 2 in support of President Nicolás Maduro, as well as his self-proclaimed interim successor Juan Guaidó.

The rival protests were held after Guaidó declared himself president of Venezuela in January, days after Maduro was sworn in for a second term. Guaidó is backed by the US and several other countries, while Russia and China back President Maduro.
