Large Hailstones Crack Windshield During Severe Thunderstorm in South Dakota

Large and damaging hail was captured cracking a car’s windshield amid severe thunderstorm warnings near Milltown, South Dakota, on April 12.

Justin Frantzen recorded this footage of dangerous hail crashing down around him while he was in his car.

“This is actually the first big hail I’ve ever been in,” Frantzen told Storyful. “I was worried that my windshield could’ve caved in on me.”
