Loud 'Boom' Heard as Meteor Shoots Over Salt Lake City
A loud ‘boom’ sound caused by a meteor was heard across northern Utah and southern Idaho on Saturday morning, August 13, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
Home-security footage from Scott Boekweg captured the meteor’s sound as it shot over Salt Lake City.
