Blowing and suspended dust and sand affected Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Sunday, August 14, the UAE’s National Center of Meteorology reported.
This video filmed by Junaid Seraj shows low visibility in the city.
Dubai International Airport faced two days of disruption, with 44 flight cancellations and 12 diversions, due to a sandstorm, an airport representative said via local media. They said airport operations were returning to normal on Monday.
