A man trying to dodge fireworks was hit squarely in the face during a birthday gathering in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on July 2, footage posted to Twitter shows.

This video, shared by Kaleb Little, shows the moment his brother-in-law, Ethan Powers, was hit with a small incendiary.

Little told Storyful that Powers “thought he was fast enough to dodge them and as you can see, he wasn’t quite fast enough.” Powers was uninjured apart from for a “tiny bump” between his eyes, Little said.
