Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Responds to Partial Building Collapse

Emergency crews responded to a condominium building collapse in Surfside, a town near Miami, Florida, on June 24. The collapse left at least one person dead and at least 10 injured, according to reports.

Officials said a “massive search and rescue” was underway after the 12-story residential building partially collapsed. The building contained more than 130 units, and about half of the units had collapsed, officials said during a press conference.
