Orcas Swim Close to Shore in Esquimalt, British Columbia

A worker installing solar panels at a property in Esquimalt, British Columbia, witnessed a pair of orcas swimming close to the shore as he worked atop a roof.

Miller Fernandez captured footage on March 8 showing the two marine mammals swimming close to local properties near the surface of the water.

“They were in that bay for about five minutes, swimming around before heading southwest,” Fernandez told Storyful.
