Pedestrian Bridge Collapse Crushes Semi-Truck Outside San Luis Potosi, Mexico

A pedestrian bridge over a highway in Enramadas, Mexico, outside San Luis Potosi, collapsed on April 22, crushing a tractor trailer.

Both sides of Federal Highway 57 were blocked by the fallen bridge, officials said, causing traffic to back up.

According to local news reports at least two semi trucks were damaged in the incident and the condition of the respective drivers is unknown.

No fatalities were reported, local news said.

Video filmed by Luis Miguel Rocha shows officials prepping a tow truck and bulldozer at the scene of the collapsed bridge as lines of vehicles wait in the distance.
